As we know, well-organized is the main point connect the equipment, workers and team in series and maximize the effect. So how does known of well-organized Yumeya produce a batch high quality chair?
One of the important factors for the stable quality of Yumeya is that Yumeya has a complete QC system. They exist in every process of production to make sure every step is in the correct.
Below are the step of hardware production and we can see how do they work.
①Raw material: Yumeya will buy raw material from the supplier. And they will test the raw material before entering the hardware department for deep processing. For aluminum tubing, we will check the thickness, hardness and surface. Here are the standards.

Only when the raw materials pass the QC will begin to be sent to cutting for further processing.
②Cutting raw material: Yumeya use the cutting machine which is imported from Japan to make sure the error can be control within 0.5mm. Only by controlling the standard well at the beginning, there will not be too much deviation in the subsequent process.
③Bending: For some shaped chairs, then you need to enter this step. In Yumeya’s quality philosophy, standards are one of the four important factors. Therefore, after bending, we must detect the radian and angle of the parts to ensure the standard and unity of the finished frame.
First, our development department will make a standard part. Then our workers will adjust according to this standard part through measurement and comparison, so as to ensure the standard and unity.
④Drilling: The chair needs a leak hole to ensure that the pickling can be thorough.
⑤Increase hardness: The aluminum we bought only 2-3 degree, after bending, we will harden to 13-14 degree to make sure it’s strong enough.
⑥Parts polished: Before welding, we will polish the parts to ensure that the surface of the tube is smooth enough.
⑦Welding: Yumeya use welding robot to make sure the standard. When the parts with parts error more than 1mm, the welding robot will stop working.
⑧Adjusting: Due to the thermal expansion and cold contraction in the welding process, there will be slightly deformation for the welded frame. So they add a special QC to ensure the symmetry of the whole chair after welding. In this process, our workers will adjust the frame mainly by measuring the diagonal and other data.
⑨Frame polished: After frame adjusting, the next step is frame polishing, is one of the key point to make sure the powder coating will be good. Yumeya also set a QC here to check the overall size of the frame, the welding joint is polished or not, the welding point is flat or not, the surface is smooth or not and etc. The chair frames can enter next department only after reaching 100% sampling qualified rate.
⑩Pickling: This is a very important step to ensure the quality of the finish of the chair. Only if the chair is thoroughly pickled, it will not cause the whole layer of powder to peel off.
⑪The third time polished: After pickling, the chair frame will be scratched each other. So before powder coating, we will do the third time polish to make sure the chair frame is smooth and flat.
⑫Powder coating: Yumeya use Tiger powder coat which is 3-5 times durable than the normal powder coat. They use a spray gun imported from Germany to ensure a wider and even coverage of the powder. They also use computer programs to control the temperature and time of the ovens to avoid errors of judgment by inexperienced workers.
Above are all the steps for Yumeya to produce a chair frame. In fact, the production steps of all factories are similar, but the main reason why Yumeya can have a good reputation is to insist that all steps are carried out in an orderly manner, and will not omit one of the steps for shorten the delivery time or save cost.
