For elderly residents in nursing homes, it is sometimes unavoidable for chairs to get dirty. A dirty dining chair can detract from the sense of luxury in senior living centers and compromise residents' comfort. As a result, facility owners are forced to spend significant money on cleaning or even replacing the chair, leading to a waste of resources.

Yumeya's new easy-clean senior living dining chair features lift-up seat cushions, with the cushion and cover connected via Velcro. When a resident accidentally soils the seat cushion, staff simply need to lift the cushion and remove the cover to quickly wash it or replace it with a brand-new cover. We offer a variety of waterproof fabric options that effectively prevent bloodstains and urine leakage.

For seniors who use canes, setting them aside during meals often requires assistance from a caregiver. Yumeya has incorporated a cane holder into the senior living dining chair; when it's time to eat, seniors can simply pull out the holder to position their cane upright next to the chair. When the cane is not in use, the holder can be retracted to ensure the product remains safe for seniors.

We partner with a well-known local supplier, ensuring that the cane holder can withstand over 100,000 opening and closing cycles without damage throughout the chair's entire lifespan.

For elderly residents in nursing homes, it is sometimes unavoidable for chairs to get dirty. A dirty dining chair can detract from the sense of luxury in senior living centers Elderly individuals with limited mobility often require the assistance of caregivers to move around. For short-distance movements, they typically need to stand up first, after which the caregiver moves the chair away. For dining chairs in senior living facilities, this task can be quite exhausting. Yumeya has equipped its chairs with casters (which can be added to either the front or rear legs). The top of the backrest features a natural curve, making it easier for caregivers to move the chair while saving energy. This design also enhances comfort for the elderly, as they do not need to stand up; caregivers can move the chair more quickly even while the elderly person remains seated.

For seniors with limited mobility, pulling a chair back to stand up after a meal can be extremely difficult, and sometimes requires assistance from a caregiver. Yumeya has innovatively developed a swivel function for senior living chairs. The chair can rotate 180°, allowing seniors to stand up simply by swiveling after a meal, without getting stuck against the table. This reduces the need for staff and caregivers at senior living facilities to intervene, thereby lightening their workload. We have tested this technology in our factory to ensure it can withstand over 100,000 rotations, so there is no need to worry about damage throughout the chair's lifespan.
